CATT Deep Marketing: Build Trust and Grow Business

Finally Received the Book: What Is CATT Deep Marketing All About?

Sometimes, a book is not just a book.

Sometimes, a book reminds us of a journey.

Sometimes, one book can take us back to the people, ideas, and moments that changed our life.

Recently, I finally received the book “Deep Marketing” by Digital Deepak.

I was excited to open the book, but for me, this was more than a simple unboxing.

This book brought back many memories of my own digital business journey.

It also made me think about one very important question:

What is Deep Marketing, and why does it matter for coaches, experts, entrepreneurs, and business owners?

Let us understand it in a very simple way.

The Story Behind This Book

When I received the book, I immediately felt happy.

The book is written by Digital Deepak, Mr. Deepak Kanakaraju, who has been an important person in my digital journey.

But my connection with Deepak did not start recently.

I used to receive emails from him around 2018–19.

At that time, I did not pay much attention.

I was already running my own business.

I had started my journey in 2014.

I was the founder of JustBaazaar, and we were already working in digital marketing and business services.

So, honestly, I had a lot of confidence in what I knew.

Maybe too much confidence.

You can call it ego.

I thought:

“I already know digital marketing. What more do I need to learn?”

But life has a funny way of teaching us.

Sometimes, the thing we think we already know is exactly the thing we need to learn again.

Then Came the Digital Deepak Internship Program

After some time, I joined the Digital Deepak Internship Program, also known as DDIP.

The program fee was around ₹15,000.

There was also a cashback offer of around ₹20,000.

And yes, I received the cashback.

But the real value was not the cashback.

The real value was the learning.

That program changed something important in my thinking.

I joined thinking that I would learn more about digital marketing.

But I learned something much bigger.

I learned that:

Digital is not only about marketing.

Digital can become a complete business.

That was a very important shift for me.

Digital Marketing vs Digital Business

This is one of the biggest lessons from my journey.

Before joining the program, my thinking was mainly around providing digital marketing services.

Businesses needed help.

We could provide SEO.

We could provide websites.

We could provide digital marketing.

We could help businesses get customers.

That was the business model.

But during my learning journey, I started seeing another possibility.

I started thinking:

“Why can I not build my own coaching business?”

The idea of coaching was already somewhere in my mind.

But I was looking at it in a different way.

I thought about coaching mainly as helping businesses through services and support.

Then I discovered a different model.

I learned that my knowledge, experience, skills, and personal journey could also become a business.

That was a major turning point.

The “Become a Coach” Lesson

One of the modules in the program was about becoming a coach.

That module caught my attention.

Why?

Because I already had years of experience.

I had worked with businesses.

I had learned digital marketing.

I had worked with SEO.

I had made mistakes.

I had built businesses.

I had seen success.

I had also seen failure.

But I had never looked at all these experiences as a complete coaching asset.

That changed.

I started seeing my experience differently.

This is a powerful lesson for every experienced professional.

You may think your experience is normal.

But someone else may be searching for exactly what you already know.

You may think:

“Everyone knows this.”

But they may not.

You may think:

“This is very simple.”

But it may be difficult for someone else.

That is where coaching can become powerful.

The Siddharth Rajsekar Connection

Another important moment came when Digital Deepak brought Siddharth Rajsekar into his community.

That introduction also influenced my journey.

I connected with Siddharth Rajsekar and continued learning.

This shows another important truth about business.

Sometimes one mentor does not give you the complete journey.

One mentor may open one door.

Another mentor may open another door.

One person may teach you marketing.

Another may teach you coaching.

Another may teach you sales.

Another may teach you mindset.

Another may teach you leadership.

The important thing is to keep learning.

Why I Like Digital Deepak

Over the years, I joined a few more programs connected with Digital Deepak.

I also enjoyed reading his emails.

I liked the way he explained ideas.

I liked his simple way of looking at business.

I also liked the fact that he was comfortable sharing his opinions.

Like every human relationship, there were also some disagreements between us.

That is normal.

People can disagree and still respect each other.

People can have different opinions and still care about each other.

That is how I see my relationship with Digital Deepak.

I respect him.

I have learned from him.

And I am grateful for the direction I received from his programs.

Now, What Is Deep Marketing?

This brings us to the main topic.

What is Deep Marketing?

Digital marketing is often understood as using digital platforms to promote a business.

We talk about:

  • SEO

  • Google

  • Social Media

  • YouTube

  • Email

  • Websites

  • Ads

  • Content

  • Funnels

These are important.

But Deep Marketing goes deeper.

It is not only about getting attention.

It is about building trust.

It is about understanding people.

It is about creating relationships.

It is about helping people know you, like you, trust you, and finally choose you.

That is why the idea of Deep Marketing is important.

People Trust People, Not Logos

One chapter in the book has a very powerful idea:

People trust people, not logos.

Think about it.

Would you rather buy a course from a logo you have never seen?

Or would you rather buy from a person you have watched for months?

You have heard their ideas.

You have seen their videos.

You have read their posts.

You have received their emails.

You have seen their results.

You understand their thinking.

You feel that you know them.

That is trust.

And trust can become a very strong business asset.

Why Personal Brand Matters

Today, people do not only search for companies.

They search for people.

They search for experts.

They search for coaches.

They search for teachers.

They search for creators.

They search for leaders.

They want to know:

Who is behind this business?

That is why personal branding has become so important.

A company can have a beautiful logo.

But people connect with a human face.

A logo can represent a business.

A person can represent a belief, a story, an experience, and a mission.

This is why coaches and experts should not hide behind their brands.

They should become the face of their knowledge.

My Own Digital Journey Is Also Proof of This

Today, I am known for digital marketing, SEO, coaching, and business building.

I have spent many years learning and working in this field.

I have built businesses.

I have worked with clients.

I have trained people.

I have created content.

I have built digital assets.

I have also made mistakes.

But all these experiences became part of my personal brand.

This is one of the biggest lessons I learned.

Your experience can become your content.

Your content can build trust.

Your trust can build your business.

That is a simple but powerful digital business cycle.

Why Email Marketing Is Still Powerful

One thing I also learned from Digital Deepak was the power of email.

Many people think email is old.

They think social media is everything.

But that is not true.

Social media can help people discover you.

Email can help you build a relationship with them.

Social media gives you attention.

Email gives you a direct communication channel.

Social media algorithms can change.

Your email list is an asset that you can build over time.

This is why Deep Marketing gives importance to communication and relationship building.

You do not need to sell something every day.

First, give value.

Teach something.

Share a lesson.

Tell a story.

Solve a problem.

Build trust.

Then make an offer.

The Power of CATT Framework

One of the important ideas connected with Deep Marketing is the CATT Framework.

CATT stands for:

C = Content

A = Attention

T = Trust

T = Transaction

The idea is simple.

You create useful content.

Your content gets attention.

Repeated value builds trust.

Trust helps people take action and become customers.

Let us understand this step by step.

C = Content

Everything starts with content.

If you are a coach, what do you know?

What problems can you solve?

What mistakes can you help people avoid?

What lessons have you learned?

What results have you created?

These can become your content.

You can create:

  • YouTube videos

  • Blog posts

  • LinkedIn posts

  • Instagram posts

  • Reels

  • Emails

  • Podcasts

  • Guides

  • Webinars

  • Free training

Your content should not only say:

“Buy from me.”

It should first say:

“Let me help you.”

A = Attention

Good content needs attention.

If nobody sees your content, it cannot help anyone.

This is where digital marketing becomes important.

You need to understand:

  • SEO

  • Search

  • Social Media

  • YouTube

  • Distribution

  • Headlines

  • Hooks

  • Keywords

  • Thumbnails

  • Short-form content

  • Long-form content

Attention brings people into your world.

But attention alone is not enough.

Millions of people can see your content.

Only a small number may trust you.

That brings us to the next stage.

T = Trust

Trust is built over time.

One video may not be enough.

One post may not be enough.

One advertisement may not be enough.

People need to see you again and again.

They need to understand your thinking.

They need to see your knowledge.

They need to see your personality.

They need to see your proof.

They need to see your consistency.

This is why content marketing is so powerful.

Every useful piece of content gives people another reason to trust you.

A person may watch your video today.

Read your blog tomorrow.

See your LinkedIn post next week.

Join your webinar next month.

Read your email later.

After many such interactions, the person may finally say:

“I trust this person. I want to learn from him.”

That is the power of Deep Marketing.

T = Transaction

The final T is Transaction.

Business cannot survive only on likes.

It cannot survive only on views.

It cannot survive only on followers.

At some point, value must become a business transaction.

You need an offer.

You need a product.

You need a service.

You need a coaching program.

You need a clear way for people to work with you.

But the transaction should come after value and trust.

This is where many businesses make mistakes.

They ask for money too early.

They have not built enough trust.

They have not explained the problem.

They have not shown the solution.

They have not created enough value.

Then they wonder:

“Why are people not buying?”

The problem may not be the product.

The problem may be the lack of trust.

Deep Marketing Is Not About Selling Harder

This is perhaps the most important lesson.

Deep Marketing is not about shouting louder.

It is not about pushing people.

It is not about selling every day.

It is about creating enough value that people naturally start seeing you as an expert.

Imagine two coaches.

Coach A says:

“Buy my course. Buy my course. Buy my course.”

Coach B teaches every day.

Coach B answers questions.

Coach B shares experiences.

Coach B explains mistakes.

Coach B gives useful frameworks.

Coach B helps people.

After six months, who will people trust more?

Usually, Coach B.

This is the power of long-term marketing.

The Biggest Shift: From Service Provider to Knowledge Business

My own journey helped me understand this very clearly.

Earlier, I mainly saw myself as someone providing digital services.

Later, I started seeing myself as a knowledge entrepreneur.

This is a huge difference.

A service provider sells work.

A knowledge entrepreneur can sell:

  • Knowledge

  • Experience

  • Frameworks

  • Training

  • Coaching

  • Communities

  • Courses

  • Consulting

  • Digital products

  • Intellectual property

Your knowledge can become an asset.

And that asset can help many people.

Your Experience Has Value

There is a common mistake experienced people make.

They think:

“I have been doing this for years. It is very simple for me.”

But remember:

It is simple for you because you have spent years learning it.

A beginner does not have that experience.

If you have worked in a field for 10 years, your 10 years of experience can save someone else 5 years of mistakes.

That is valuable.

Your experience can become a roadmap for someone else.

Your mistakes can become lessons.

Your failures can become content.

Your success can become a case study.

Your process can become a framework.

Your knowledge can become a business.

Do Not Be Afraid of Competition

There is another important lesson from my journey.

For a long time, many business owners think:

“If someone else is doing the same thing, they are my competitor.”

I now look at this differently.

There can be many coaches.

There can be many digital marketers.

There can be many SEO experts.

There can be many business mentors.

There can be many creators.

But every person has a different story.

Every person has a different personality.

Every person has a different communication style.

Every person attracts a different audience.

Every person has different strengths.

This is why I believe:

Nobody can take your exact customer away from you.

The people who connect with your message will come to you.

The people who connect with someone else's message will go to them.

There is enough opportunity for everyone who creates real value.

Why I Am Grateful for This Book

This book is special to me because it connects with my own journey.

It reminds me of the time when I thought I already knew digital marketing.

It reminds me of the time when I joined DDIP.

It reminds me of the new world of coaching that I discovered.

It reminds me of the people who influenced my journey.

And it reminds me that learning never stops.

Even if you are experienced, you should continue learning.

Even if you are successful, you should continue improving.

Even if you think you know something, you should remain open to a new perspective.

That is how growth happens.

What Coaches Can Learn From Deep Marketing

If you are a coach, expert, trainer, consultant, or knowledge entrepreneur, there are several lessons you can take from this idea.

1. Stop Trying to Sell First

Start by helping.

Create useful content.

Answer questions.

Solve problems.

Teach what you know.

2. Build Your Personal Brand

Do not hide behind a company logo.

Show your face.

Share your story.

Share your ideas.

Share your experience.

People want to know the person behind the business.

3. Create Content Regularly

You do not need perfect content.

You need useful content.

Consistency is more important than perfection.

4. Build an Email List

Do not depend only on social media.

Build a direct relationship with your audience.

Email can become a powerful long-term business asset.

5. Build Trust Before Asking for Money

Give value first.

Help people understand their problems.

Show them possible solutions.

Then present your offer.

6. Turn Knowledge Into Assets

Your knowledge should not stay only inside your head.

Turn it into:

  • Videos

  • Courses

  • Books

  • Guides

  • Workshops

  • Coaching

  • Communities

  • Frameworks

This is how knowledge can become a business asset.

Deep Marketing Is a Long Game

The internet has created a strange business culture.

Everyone wants instant results.

Instant followers.

Instant leads.

Instant sales.

Instant success.

But strong brands are not built overnight.

Trust takes time.

Authority takes time.

Relationships take time.

Content takes time.

Deep Marketing is therefore a long-term game.

You are not only trying to get today's customer.

You are building a digital relationship that can create customers for years.

My Biggest Takeaway

After receiving this book, I started thinking about my own journey again.

The biggest lesson for me is very simple:

Digital Marketing brings attention.

Deep Marketing builds trust.

And when attention and trust come together, business becomes much stronger.

This is especially important for coaches, experts, consultants, and knowledge entrepreneurs.

You do not need to become the biggest person on the internet.

You need to become the right person for the right audience.

You do not need everyone.

You need the people who believe in your message.

You do not need millions of followers.

You need a community that trusts you.

Final Thoughts

I am grateful to Digital Deepak for sending me this book.

I am also grateful for the learning and direction I received through the Digital Deepak programs.

My journey started with digital marketing services.

Then I discovered coaching.

Then I discovered the power of personal branding.

Then I started understanding the power of content, trust, email, funnels, and digital business systems.

Today, I look at digital business in a much bigger way.

And that is why this book is not just another book for me.

It is connected with a part of my own journey.

If you are a coach, trainer, expert, consultant, entrepreneur, or knowledge professional, I believe you should understand the difference between Digital Marketing and Deep Marketing.

Digital Marketing can help people find you.

Deep Marketing can help people trust you.

And trust is one of the most powerful assets you can build in business.

Build Content.

Get Attention.

Build Trust.

Create Transactions.

That is the simple power behind the CATT Framework.

And perhaps the biggest lesson is this:

Do not only build a business that people can see.

Build a relationship that people can trust.

CATT Deep Marketing: Build Trust and Grow Business Book REview Deepak Kanakaraju
Amol Karale About the Book Deep Marketing

@⁨Deepak Kanakaraju Digital Deepak⁩ I just wanted to take a moment to genuinely acknowledge you and thank you for writing Deep Marketing🙏❤️

This book has created a massive shift in the way I look at my coaching business.

Honestly, I had never taken email marketing seriously. But after reading your book, I opened my ConvertKit account and started building my email ecosystem.

One of the biggest breakthroughs for me was clarity.

I was confused about my positioning, my niche, my offer, and even how to structure my coaching journey. I knew I was in the coaching space, but I didn't have that crystal clarity.

After reading your book, so many pieces started falling into place.

I got clarity on:

• My positioning

• My niche

• My premium offer

• My mid-ticket offer

• How to focus on transformation rather than just information

• What kind of content I should create

• How to build and nurture an email list

• How to capture attention by genuinely providing value

And here's something I'm particularly excited about:

I've designed my entire 6-Day Life Reinvention Reset as an email course.

It's something I probably wouldn't have thought of doing without the clarity I got from your book.

I also had no idea how to create a proper landing page. Instead of outsourcing it or getting stuck, I realised, "I need to learn this." And I actually created my own landing page.

That's the kind of action your book has inspired me to take.

And the amazing part is that I've completed the book only once! 😄

I'm already planning to read it at least two more times because I know there is so much more I can extract from it.

What I appreciate most is that this wasn't just a book that gave me information. It made me take action.

A lot of things that were scattered in my mind have started coming together into a clear business model.

So Deepak, thank you & Gratitude 🙏

I'm genuinely grateful for the clarity, perspective and action this book has created for me.

I'm excited to implement even more of what I've learned and see where this journey takes me.

Thank you once again for writing Deep Marketing. It has genuinely made a difference in my life and business 🙏❤️

Ajay Balamurgdas

kept on adding value to my colleague who came for 1-1 coaching. He liked it, he has got his son now fot 1-1 public speaking coaching.

Before Deep Marketing book, i would have quoted 1/3rd of what I quoted, fearing losing him.

Now, not getting into price war. Will add immense value, once he joins. (Will send sample before that)

Typing that number felt odd but i understand why i should do that also

Debpriya

After receiving the book the first thought that actually came to my mind was this only . I’ve read many books priced at ₹500–₹600 or more . though some were impactful, but the quality not always up to the mark. But you’ve managed to deliver this level of quality, depth and practical insights at just ₹400. That’s genuinely amazing and highly commendable. 👏

Really appreciate the thought and effort that has gone into this book.
